Configuring Bonzi Buddy with eNetBot Mail

1 Make sure you have eNetBot Mail downloaded and running on your PC.

  1. Just download the file from http://www.enetbot.com/enetbotmail.exe and save it on your PC.
  2. Double click the file that you downloaded. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. You should see this small icon with the PC and yellow mail in the system tray if eNetBot Mail is running. eNetBot Mail should be running on your PC at all times for you to be able to check mail using Bonzi Buddy.

2 Install Bonzi Buddy. Download the program “Bonzi Buddy E-mail reader” at: http://www.bonzi.com Proceed to the next step if you have already done this.
3 Please right-click on BonziBUDDY and choose “My Options.”  Then click on “Settings” and choose the E-mail Reader Setup option. Please enter the name of your Internet Mail Server as aol.enetbot.com. This is also known as your POP 3 Mail Server information. Then enter your E-Mail logon User Name (Your AOL screen name)  and Password (Your AOL password) .

Once you have entered this information, go ahead and click the ‘Test’ button. BonziBUDDY will make sure you have everything setup properly. If you would like, you can click on BonziBUDDY’s ‘Interval’ tab, and specify how often you would like him to check for new E-Mail messages when you are online together.

NOTE: Make sure you have enetbot running before you have Bonzi Buddy check your AOL mail. It should start up with windows and you can have it hidden so it doesn’t pop up and you don’t see it, but you must have it running before Bonzi Buddy can check your email.

That is all you need to do with eNetBot and Bonzi Buddy to read your AOL mail.
