eNetBot Privacy Statement

eNetBot has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website, www.enetbot.com and our software product, eNetBot Mail.

Our software registration form requires users to give us contact information (only AOL user name). We use customer contact information (AOL e-mail address) from the registration form to send the user information about updates as well as software keys that can be used to register the software on the end user’s system. Users may opt-out of receiving future updates about our software; see the choice/opt-out section below.

Our software, eNetBot Mail, also requires the the password for the AOL user account that it is accessing. This password is never submitted to any of our (eNetBot) servers or to any third party servers. It is sent only and directly to the AOL servers. When it is sent to the AOL servers, we follow the same encryption standards that AOL does. The password is never sent by eNetBot Mail as clear text.

If you are evaluating the software and did not register it, we have absolutely no information about you. We will have your AOL address only if you chose to register. Our software does not provide us with any automatic registration information.

This site contains links to other sites. www.enetbot.com is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The registration information that we collect is accessible only to senior personnel in our company and is used solely for the purpose of informing users about updated versions as well as registration keys for those versions. We do not supply the collected information to anybody else. When our software does store or send sensitive information (to the AOL servers), encryption is used to provide greater security. This does not guarantee that this information is tamper proof just as in any other internet based transaction, only that we use high levels of security to prevent this from happening.

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor.

This site gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future communications or to no longer receive our service.

On a more personal note…

All of the above aside, we are just a small bunch of geeks working 24×7 in a startup environment trying to provide our customers with the best value possible. We will never compromise your information in any manner: We have submitted our software for review to several shareware sites and independent reviewers and are awaiting their assessment. We will post these as they become available.

If you wish to review our software for privacy concerns or for any other purpose, please shoot us an e-mail at [email protected].

Thank you for supporting us and the millions of tiny software companies all around the world!
